The second installment in ICAP’s three-part editorial series on how Hawai‘i should address climate change and sea-level rise was published today on the Honolulu Civil Beat website.  Check out the article, “Hawaii Planning and Regulatory Tools To Adapt to Sea-Level Rise,” at http://www.civilbeat.com/posts/2012/01/18/14567-hawaii-planning-and-regulatory-tools-to-adapt-to-sea-level-rise/ or Download it here.

In case you missed the first installment yesterday, you can find it here.

ICAP developed the op-ed series to share the findings of our recent publication, Sea-Level Rise and Coastal Land Use in Hawai‘i: A Policy Tool Kit for State and Local Governments by Douglas Codiga and Kylie Wager.  Contributors to the editorial series include ICAP affiliates from a range of backgrounds such as climate science, coastal planning, climate change law, and urban and regional planning.
