It is a pleasure to announce the new ICAP blog!

The new site is a resource for climate change adaptation stakeholders, such as elected officials and other policy-makers, community members, businesses, landowners, emergency services professionals, planners, and cultural practitioners, as well as other individuals and organizations interested in the effects of climate change on island communities and in adaptation policy and best practices.

The new webpage has been developed by our visiting scientist, Luisa Cristini, together with ICAP Director, Maxine Burkett, Program Assistant, Zena Grecni, and Director of Operations, Leslie Ricketts.

We hope you will find the site to be rich in content and easy to navigate. Here you will find information on ICAP staff, projects and publications, and on climate change and its impacts on island communities. A catalog of resources, news stories, and opportunities to partner with ICAP are also available.

The highlight of the webpage is ICAP’s new interactive blog. The on-line journal is a unique opportunity for ICAP staff and collaborators to communicate their work to the climate science and policy communities. It is meant to be a platform for discussion, so we look forward to your comments and feedback on the climate issues of today.

You are most welcome to visit the webpage (and us!) and to participate actively in adaptation planning for island environments and communities.

Mahalo!
