A month ago, on January 17, 2012, ICAP participated in an informational briefing relating to climate change at the State Capitol. The invited speakers were Dr. Charles (Chip) Fletcher, Associate Dean of the UH School of Ocean and Earth Science and Technology (SOEST); Maxine Burkett, Director of the Center for Island Climate Adaptation and Policy (ICAP); NOAA Pacific Regional Climate Services Director John Marra; and Director of the State Office of Planning, Jesse Souki.
